In November 2019, RISMA was named the Danish legal tech company of the year at the legal tech conference in Copenhagen. Kammeradvokaten and Ante, who offer legal information search, were also in the running, but RISMA beat them to the finish line.
The panel's reason for choosing RISMA
The jury, which consisted of Steen Hermansen from Danske Advokater, Peter Istrup from Danske Virksomhedsadvokater, and Dan Storbaek from Experticon, gave the following reason for giving RISMA the Award:
"RISMA has seen impressive growth and continues to grow in the risk management, governance, and compliance market. With inspiration from Microsoft Office's dominant role within documents and spreadsheets, the company tries to copy the same approach to the area of risk management, governance, and compliance. "
A pat on the back for the team
Lars Nybro Munksgaard, founder and CEO of RISMA, was pleased with the recognition that came with the award.
“I am, of course, very proud that RISMA's GRC platform was recognized with this award. But most of all, I see it as a big pat on the back to the whole team, who works hard every day to deliver a great product to our customers.”
RISMA's journey towards a unified GRC platform
Established in 2014, RISMA Systems originally developed a risk management solution – from which the name RISMA came from. Since then, the company has developed a wide array of solutions - among other things, for handling internal controls.
Over the past few years, several compliance tools have been developed and new compliance areas are constantly added to the product portfolio. They help and guide organizations to comply with legislation and standards such as GDPR, ISMS (information security), and outsourcing.
This means that RISMA can offer its customers a one-stop GRC platform where they can have all their governance, risk management, and governance efforts across the entire organization.
